ABOUT RATE IT GREEN:

Rate It Green is an online community for people interested in finding and sharing the best in green building and design products and services. Our objective is to facilitate an open marketplace where everyone can shop for and buy green products confidently. Rate It Green features an online Green Products Forum and a Green Ratings system where members can share their thoughts and ask questions about a variety of green products, services, and related topics. Our hope is that Rate It Green will help newcomers and experts alike discover new products and learn the pros and cons about existing materials and services from those who have actually worked with and used them.

Joining Rate It Green as a community member is free of charge. Members will simply fill out a registration survey as well as periodic updates to help us learn more about the green buying community. We will also include all green businesses in our ratings system database free of charge to provide the most accurate and comprehensive information for our members.

RATE IT GREEN'S LEADERSHIP:

Rate It Green was created by three partners:

John Dudley: John is currently a financial analyst for a Fortune 15 company. In his tenure as an analyst he has been responsible for building and maintaining complex financial models, settlement analysis and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. John graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2000 with an undergraduate degree in biology. (Go Irish!) In the fall of 2000 John attended the Carroll School of Management at Boston College earning his MBA. John is excited to finally combine both the science aspect of his undergraduate degree with the business skills he learned in the MBA program to increase environmental awareness and further the sustainable design movement.

Allison Friedman: Allison built and strengthened her customer service experience through ten years in the restaurant industry, first working for a national foodservice company in the field and in consumer research, and next creating and operating Kokopelli Southwestern Grill, a mid-scale casual Southwestern restaurant in Brookline, MA. She gained additional experience during this time in marketing, vendor relations, and operations management. More recently, Allison attended business school at the MIT Sloan School of Management (2005) to sharpen her marketing skills and to learn more about nonprofit and socially positive business management. Allison also graduated from Brown University in 1994 with a B.A. in Public Policy and Economics. Allison is very excited to be returning to her socially oriented roots and to be making great use of experience and skills gained from many past public and nonprofit sector internships.

Justin Situ: Justin is a lead designer for a multinational integrated event-marketing corporation. He has designed and managing multi-million dollar projects for a number of Fortune 500 clients. Justin has developed three-dimensional architectural solutions to fulfill client-marketing objectives in a variety of venue applications including auto shows, trade shows, special events, permanent showrooms, and executive receptions. Justin has also worked with an American marketing team to implement the new business development strategies in the Asia Pacific markets. Justin graduated with a BFA in Industrial Design from the Massachusetts College of Art and continued his education with the Boston Architectural College concentrating on a wide-ranging of design and marketing. Justin is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. Over the past year, Justin has participated in a number of green consulting and design projects.
