Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. USGBC-LA invites you to join us as we celebrate THE LUCKY 13 GREEN GALA
USGBC-LA 7th Annual Sustainable Innovation Awards offer prestige and affirmation of your project's commitment to a sustainable built environment. Unlike standardized rating systems, the Sustainable Innovation Awards evaluate merit based upon sustainable strategies that demonstrate exemplary performance by going above and beyond LEED credit achievement.
New this year, the Sustainable Innovation Awards are now open to projects certified under any sustainability rating system. All winners will be recognized during USGBC-LA's 13th Annual Green Gala.
*Volunteers are needed to support this successful event.
Requirements: Must be a USGBC-LA member in good standing, Volunteers must commit and complete a 2-hour shift, between 3-9pm

USGBC-LA's activities expand the green building marketplace, cultivate sustainable cities and communities, influence green building policy at all levels of government, calibrate and enhance the environmental benefits of green building, and strengthen the links between green building and human health and well-being.

Call for Submissions: 7th Annual Sustainable Innovation Awards- USGBC-LA
By Allison Friedman | Oct 02, 2017The Sustainable Innovation Awards (SIAs) will be recognized at the U.S. Green Building Council-Los Angeles’ 13th Annual Green Gala on November 30 in Hollywood. The Green Gala and the SIAs celebrate the impactful regional projects that are changing the way we think about sustainability in our built environment. NEW CATEGORIES of awards this year and an EXPANDED INVITATION to multiple third party certifications.
L.A.’s “Oscars” of green building, the SIAs reflect the Chapter’s emphasis on energy and water savings, air quality, good design, transportation, resiliency and community engagement.
