Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. 2018 AASHE Conference & Expo, October 2, Pittsburgh, PA
Event Description
Expected to draw over 2,000 participants, AASHE’s annual conference is the largest stage to share effective models, policies, research, collaborations and transformative actions which advance sustainability in higher education and surrounding communities.
AASHE offers many services for its members, but none of them are more visible than the AASHE Conference & Expo. The conference helps fulfill AASHE’s mission to inspire and catalyze higher education to lead the global sustainability transformation. Proceeds from the conference are reinvested into our community by supporting AASHE programs and services. AASHE works throughout the year to build a supportive community that enables us to reach towards our vision for higher education to be a foundation for a thriving, equitable and ecologically healthy world.
With a theme of “Global Goals: Rising to the Challenge” AASHE 2018 will examine the critical role of higher education in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Adopted by the world’s governments in September 2015, the 17 SDGs establish ambitious global targets to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all by 2030.
