Sign up today, and become a Member of our growing green building community. Individual Membership and our Basic Corporate Listings are free of charge.

About Registration +_

Registration Requirements include verification of your email address, a brief set of questions (5) about your green building interests, and the creation of a Site Identity (Screen Name and Location).

After a Site Identity is created, a Member selects his or her level of Membership and Community involvement by completing additional optional steps.

Members who create a profile and view/complete all registration steps (not all information is required) are considered Full Site Members and are entitled to all Regular Member privileges, including posting Ratings/Reviews for listed products and services in the Rate It Green Green Building Directory.


Password

Select a password you will remember, and do not share it. You can change your password through the site if you need to recover it.


Screen Name

For your Screen Name, you may use your real name, or parts of your real name that identifies you while protecting your privacy at the same time.

This name will be displayed to the general public.

Enter a name or identity you wish to appear whenver you post content to Rate It Green." We encourage you to use your first name and last initial, or even your full name. This is how your peers will know you on Rate It Green.

By clicking the box above and by using this site, you accept Rate It Green's Terms of Service, including the User Agreement, Site Rules, and and Privacy Policy. You also agree to receive communications from Rate It Green related to your account and this site. You may adjust your email settings in the Communications preferences section of your Member Dashboard.

*Many individuals will only require a personal account. Please create a personal account even if you intend to list a company in the Rate It Green directory, as each company requires an individual to "attach to." A personal account will allow you to be the Account Manager for your company and to enter your organization into the system as a company record. This works well for several reasons:

  1. Your company will have the right type of record and show as a company in the directory, which also sets you up to list products and services within this record
  2. Should you wish for someone new to manage the account, we can easily attach the account to the new person who will be managing your company’s records, and
  3. Having your own personal account allows you to have your own identity and participation in the Rate It Green community, as you wish. You can use your real name, some part of your name, or create an identity you feel best represents you. Your individual content contributions are entirely separate from what you post “as” your company.
