Building Energy Exchange Event: Climate Ready Buildings Training, New York City, January 23
Event Description
The Climate Ready Buildings Training educates affordable housing project teams – including building owners, architects, and contractors – on how to design and construct high-performance buildings that are resilient against the increasing pressure of climate change and align with NY’s climate goals.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how the climate crisis and subsequent NY policies impact the building industry, insight into design and construction strategies, such as Integrative Design Process (IDP), and HPD-specific funding opportunities.
This training is a prerequisite to the certification process for the Enterprise Green Communities Criteria for projects financed by NYC Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).
