EBC 14th Annual Construction and Demolition Materials Management Regional Summit, 1/30, 7:15am-12pm, Framingham MA
Event Description
The EBC 14th Annual Construction and Demolition (C&D) Materials Management Summit continues to be the primary industry forum that explores the state of the industry in New England. C&D materials management continues to be an important and much discussed topic, not just locally here in New England, but also at the national and global levels. There have been many notable advancements and successes, however, there remain significant unresolved challenges.
This year the Summit presents Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts Karyn Polito who will reflect on the administration’s economic and environmental policies and priorities for the Commonwealth.
MassDEP Commissioner Martin Suuberg will provide an update on critical issues impacting solid waste management in the Commonwealth in addition to reviewing developments to the new Solid Waste Master Plan to be released in 2020.
The Summit speaker agenda will provide attendees with state, regional and national perspectives on the industry, and include two significant panel discussions: the first panel will focus on market developments with C&D generators and processors. The second panel will, for the first time in many years, be made up of representatives of the construction industry who will focus on their challenges of managing C&D materials on construction sites.
In addition, there will be presentations on transportation and disposal issues, as well as the management of PCB contaminated materials.
