Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. You are invited to an introduction to the Fitwel Certification system.
Speakers:
Joanna Frank, Executive Director of the Center for Active Design (operator for Fitwel) will provide an overview of the Fitwel certification system in addition to lessons learned from companies using the system during the current beta phase.
Fitwel is a cost-effective, high-impact, and health promoting building certification system that was developed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and General Services Administration (GSA). Fitwel was most recently named one of Fast Company 2017's Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Social Good. The system optimizes occupant health and productivity through targeted improvements to workplace design and operational practices. It also responds to the growing demand for recognition of healthier buildings and workplaces, serving as a market differentiator to retain and attract tenants, investors, and employees.
