In an effort to alleviate the States housing crisis, California passed a series of laws to allow homeowners to utilize their lots for building accessory dwelling units. This session aims to provide guidance on the building code, resources and best practices.

Learning Objectives:

  • How will an ADU be valuated and what are some of the tax implications?
  • Energy efficiency and an all-electric design
  • Resources to help your clients plan for their ADU
