Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.

We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. In the rush to get schools ready to welcome students and staff during or after the COVID-19 pandemic, schools are receiving information from all sides, some helpful and some misleading. Join our panelists to get your questions answered and hear science-based responses to some of the most pervasive myths circulating about filtration and air cleaning.

Barry Abramson is a Principal at Servidyne, a consulting firm in Atlanta, GA. Barry has provided energy and sustainability consulting services for 40 years. He is past Chair of USGBC’s Energy and Atmosphere Technical Advisory Group and served on the ASHRAE committee that wrote the energy audit standard. With a degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, he is a Registered PE in 15 states, a LEED AP O+M and LEED Faculty.
Dr. Marwa Zaatari is Chief Science Officer at Blue Box Air. She leads the research of “Air as a Service” around heat exchanger coils, filters, and IAQ measurements to design and operate buildings for optimal energy and people efficiency. Dr. Zaatari has extensive experience in identifying and quantifying the sources, fate, and transport of indoor air pollutants, building energy and environmental management, assessing performance-based procedures of HVAC ventilation and air cleaning, and developing and applying models for energy efficiency, indoor air quality, exposure assessment, and economic impacts of indoor air pollution. Dr. Zaatari is an ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer, a member of the ASHRAE Epidemic Task Force Commercial team and a member of several ASHRAE Committees, voting member of Standard 62.1, Chair for TRG4 Indoor Air Quality Procedure, Voting Member Standard 145.2 laboratory test method for gas-phase air cleaning systems, LEED Committee member, and ex-Chair of LEED IAQP Working Group.
