Free Webinar: Understanding Sustainable Buildings, February 12, 2-4pm EST
Event Description
The Methodist Church voted to reach Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2030.
But how do we do it?
As part of their push towards an A Rocha Eco District Award, the Southampton District is hosting a series of webinars to support stewards; preachers and worship leaders; children's, youth and families leaders; ministers and others understand how we can respond practically and theologically to the climate and environmental crisis. These events are hosted in partnership with the Methodist Church's Learning Network.
About this event
So how do we make our buildings green? With input from Dr. Ho Lim, convenor of Stratford-Upon-Avon Methodist Church, will break down the story of their church creating a Zero Carbon building. Lim will also help us understand how we might do something similar according to our own budgets and contexts, and talk about why it matters.
This webinar, along with taught content, will offer space for conversation with others, and time for Q&A with Lim and others from the Southampton District Eco Group.
