Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Leaders in Energy 9th Annual Green Jobs Forum, Online, September 22, 3:30 - 7 pm EDT
Event Description
The urgent need to become a more sustainable and equitable world, and to stop and reverse climate and biodiversity impacts, is generating widespread new opportunities for people of all ages, skills, and interests to be in green jobs and businesses.
This year's Green Job's Forum feature three distinct panels. Each is an hour long including time for Q&A. They are designed to give you great tools and insights for your own green job pathway. The first panel is "Green Job Opportunities" highlighting myriad current openings and green business development resources. The second is "Educational Pathways" which will cover familiar and newer ways to gain the skills and knowledge that employers need. Finally, the third is "Landing the Job" where you'll discover the paths others have taken successfully. The event concludes with an optional networking session to meet fellow attendees!
Attendees will hear from a constellation of knowledgeable speakers coming from government, business, education, plus individuals who landed a green job or created their own green business. They will provide perspectives on the following and more:
