With unprecedented calls to decarbonize energy supply, transportation, facilities, and supply chains, the opportunities and barriers are endless. Many organizations must transform their existing operating and business models to account for regulation, operational constraints, labor shortages, consumer expectations, and economics. However, to implement change decarbonizing solutions must be increasingly aligned with the pursuit of important outcomes such as resilience, security, and social equity. LEED continues to address decarbonization in each version and can be used as a holistic framework, helping not only to develop an integrated approach for climate, but also to ensure baseline consideration of health, clean water, and other important outcomes. 

Decarbonization is one of the most critical topics facing green building professionals. Reducing the CO2 emissions that raise global temperatures is a nonnegotiable part of keeping our communities and our planet healthy for future generations. They will explore the ways LEED supports decarbonization while looking toward innovations to propel us into a carbon free world. They will examine net zero case studies and engage in thought leadership discussion with practitioners and partners.
