Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Join for 'The Future Of Suburbia' hosted by The BDA and The Suburban Alliance featuring International Keynote Speaker Dr Alan M Berger, Center for Advanced Urbanism, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
Hosted by QUT this one day international event focuses on the opportunities for enhanced economic, community and property development of Australia’s suburban centres and landscape.
An international keynote address “Infinite Suburbia” by Dr Alan Berger (reflecting the title of a new global study into the suburban condition by Dr Berger and Joel Kotkin from Chapman University, California) will lead into a high powered plenary panel discussion, followed by three further moderated sessions highlighting:
A sustainable future for suburbia
The future of employment in suburbia
Planning the future of suburbia
Joining Alan Berger to debate the issues are civic leaders and experts in the development, urban planning, design and research disciplines.
This once only event will appeal to developers, urban planners, architects, economic and community development officials, infrastructure providers, government agencies, sustainability experts, and all professionals with an interest in the wider opportunities of urban development. International perspectives from global thought leaders will mix with local issues and point to practical solutions.
