TRI-STATE Community Energy Summit Jan 15 - 17, New York, NY
Event Description
A Premier Event Connecting Local Governments in NY, NJ, and CT to Cheaper, Cleaner Local Energy
Local governments in the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut Tri-State area have an opportunity to switch to clean energy, stimulate their local economies, and save residents and small businesses money.
However, questions remain. Community solar development in New York is bound to NY REV and the barriers that exist, additionally, there is only 1 CCA program in operation. The community solar pilot programs in New Jersey and Connecticut are brand new and need time for fine-tuning. For local governments and the entire energy value chain, there is much to learn in the Tri-State area.
At Tri-State Community Energy, local governments will have a unique opportunity to get the latest information on community solar policies and market growth potential. In an intimate setting, regulators will take a deep dive into new programs, utilities will get ahead of the rush of community solar projects and distributed energy resources (DERs), and renewable developers and vendors will grow their businesses in one of the most active regions in the country.
Don’t miss the Pre-Summit Executive Briefing, a one-day tutorial dedicated to helping local governments aggregate community energy. Connect with peers and CCA/GEA administrators who have successfully procured cheaper, clean, local energy.
