Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Former Maryland Governor, Martin O'Malley will deliver a keynote address on Seizing America's Renewable Energy Future.
Governor O'Malley will explore how a shift in the public opinion of climate change has lead toward a movement of action toward a renewable energy future. The presentation will focus on the development and deployment of renewable energy, the technical advances that are reducing costs and the largest challenges we still face.
GEORGE BANDY
As VP for sustainability, George is responsible for managing the comprehensive concepts and practices of sustainability for Mohawk, a leading commercial flooring company known for cutting-edge and innovative flooring solutions.
Bandy's presentation, Material Transparency, Health and Wellness and Biophilia, Bandy will dive into the importance of health and welness in the built environment and various methods, such as biophillic design, that can be used to achieve it.
MICHAEL GREEN
Green, a globally recognized Canadian architect, will deliver a keynote presentation entitled: "INCREMENTS OF CHANGE: From Early Tall Wood Buildings to a Global Movement and Online Education."
Green's firm, Michael Green Architects, designed the tallest modern wood building in the US, called the T3 office building. T3 (Timber, Technology and Transit) is a 7-story mass timber building located in Minneapolis, MN. (source)

CHIEF OREN LYONS
We are very pleased to announce that Chief Oren Lyons, Faithkeeper of the Turtle Clan of the Onondaga Nation, will present a Keynote at the 2018 NYS Green Building Conference.

JOHN MARDALJEVIC
John Mardaljevic is a professor at Loughborough University (UK) and an expert in building daylight modelling, considered the pioneer of Climate-Based Daylight Modelling (CBDM).
In his talk, New York Times to Central Park Tower: Case Studies From An ‘Accidental Practitioner’, Mardaljevic will explore case-studies in which building science research drove major changes in standards or impacted notable building projects.
