2017 NJ Sustainability Summit, June 21st
Event Description
Join us at the 2017 New Jersey Sustainability Summit. This event attracts over 300 diverse participants from across New Jersey. Attendees will participate in thought provoking conversations that focus on engaging government, community, schools, business and academia in sustainable action.
Green teams are on the front lines of the local sustainability movement across the state. Learn new strategies to expand the capacity and reach of your green teams. Hear about ways that green teams and municipal governments can build on resources already existing within the sustainability community.
As President and CEO of the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, Chris leads efforts to build the capacity of grantees by connecting leaders across sectors and fostering a culture of collaboration. It is the focus on collective impact that helps create a sustainable future. Chris brings decades of federal and state government and nonprofit experience to his leadership role, having served as Regional Administrator of the US Environmental Protection Agency and Commissioner of the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. Having focused on regional efforts in both the public and private environmental sectors, Chris is the perfect speaker to open the 2017 New Jersey Sustainability Summit.
