Decarbonization in the Northeast Summit, Brooklyn, NY
Event Description

This year, the NEEP Summit will be held in collaboration with Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management (NESCAUM) and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) as part of EPRI’s Electrification U.S. Symposium Series. "Pathways to Decarbonization in the Northeast" is a partnership between these three organizations to convene an inspiring regional dialogue of government, industry, community and advocacy leaders to address the opportunities, trends, and challenges of minimizing the carbon footprint of homes, buildings, and transportation in the Northeast U.S.

This two-day conference will explore how building decarbonization and electrified transportation have the potential to transform energy use in the Northeast. Co-chaired by Alicia Barton, CEO of New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and Gil C. Quiniones, CEO of the New York Power Authority, the event will bring together an array of policy and regulatory stakeholders, private industry experts, and utility officials to discuss decarbonization, electrification, and the many activities at play in the Northeast energy landscape and how that will impact the future.
