Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. This workshop covers how to improve the energy efficiency of your home to increase comfort, save money and reduce environmental impacts.
This workshop covers how to improve the energy efficiency of your home to increase comfort, save money and reduce environmental impacts.
We will discuss things you can do yourself to save energy, how to obtain rebates and incentives that can help you cover the costs, and how to hire local professionals to support you on bigger jobs. The workshop includes an introduction to solar energy and how to pay for it.
This workshop is geared toward existing homes with the goal of making energy efficiency accessible for everyone, including those on a limited budget.
The event is free and open to the public. Please reserve your free ticket via Eventbrite to save your space.
The workshop is hosted by Blue Horizons Project and taught by Green Built Alliance Executive Director Sam Ruark-Eastes.
