Event Description
We are in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, a disease caused by the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-Coronavirus-2). Our webinar discusses viruses and recent research in respiratory virus transmission mechanisms. Based on the current understanding of the novel coronavirus, Covid-19 disease transmission in several countries are reviewed as of the end of April. Projections of Covid-19 transmission in the US for the month of May are discussed as plans are made to re-open the country.
