Green Building Community
Massachusetts Green Communities

I recently was told about a government program in which municipalities can register as 'green communities' and gain additional funding and grants for installing green initiatives and renewable energy generation. The program guidelines can be found here: http://www.mass.gov/eea/energy-utilities-clean-tech/green-communities/gc-grant-program/
To my dismay Haverhill is not yet compliant. Dissapointed to say the least =x
A map of 'green communities' can be found here. Is your town green? http://www.mass.gov/eea/docs/doer/green-communities/grant-program/map-summary-green-communities.pdf
