Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.

Event Description
Wall assembly details like corners, deck connections, fastening schedules, tapes, window bucks, furring strips and cladding attachment present challenges. The webinar presenter is a nationally recognized green design and building expert who set out to determine if there was a simple high performance wall system to resolve these challenges in new construction, remodeling and retrofit situations. Join us to hear the results of his extensive pursuit. He’ll walk through each layer of wall assembly and share lessons learned, as well as the strategies and materials behind this new approach he’s dubbed the 'awesome wall.’
As a result of this webinar, you will be able to:
-Describe the role and placement of each control layer in a wall assembly.
-Discuss wall assembly methods, as well as attachment to the home and of individual parts.
-Explain wall assembly ventilation and flashing strategies.
-Discuss the challenges and risks of wall assemblies and how to minimize them.
