Non-Toxic Fire Safety in Massachusetts
April 9th, 2015 9:00am-12:30pm

Join the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts, Silent Spring Institute, Harvard, Healthcare without Harm, Blue Cross Blue Shield and others - to discuss how to improve health and safety outcomes in our buildings.

This symposium will educate stakeholders from multiple sectors about recent changes in the Massachusetts and Boston fire codes that allow flame retardant free furniture in public spaces. Speakers will discuss the impact of these code changes on health, fire safety, firefighter health, sustainability, architecture and design, and policy. You will learn how to reduce exposures to flame retardant chemicals and improve the health of your organization.

This is event is free, but requires registration by March 27, 2015.
