Green California Schools and Community College Summit, Hybrid Event in Pasadena, California and Online, October 18
Event Description
The Green California Schools and Community Colleges Summit will be held both virtually (on-line), and in person at the Pasadena Conference Center from 8am to 4:30pm on October 18th.
The Summit is a must-see event for anyone working with school districts and community colleges to achieve their sustainability goals.
Keynote speakers include Deputy Superintendent, Student Support Services Branch, Steve Zimmer, and Jema Estrella, Director of Facilities and Construction at the Los Angeles County Office of Education.
With over 20 sessions, topics at this year’s Summit include:

The education session topics are curated by our Advisory Board to deal with the upcoming changes and challenges faced in the education sector. Members include staff from school districts and colleges, M&O, Superintendents, County Offices of Education, and the State Architect. All sessions will be recorded and available for one month after the event so nothing gets missed.
In addition to the education sessions, we will have an onsite expo area with vendors addressing the latest technology and sustainable products and services along with public sector entities.
Of note, the Division of the State Architect will have a booth this year, making for a great opportunity for district staff to meet with them in person.
As always, the Expo Hall and Keynote are free to attend!

The convention center’s subterranean parking structure is shared with the Sheraton Pasadena. There are two entrances, (a) on Euclid Avenue, and (b) Marengo Avenue, both between Green Street and Cordova Street. If you are using a Mobile GPS, enter this address for the most direct route:
