One of the biggest things a person should consider when doing renovations is "How can I make my space more environmentally friendly?". You are already taking the time and money to make your space better so why wouldn't you want to make it healthy, safer, and more sustainable too? Many green technologies have the ability to be retrofitted onto a space. This means that even if something before didn't contain this technology, a builder can easily add this technology now. Don't know who to call to help in your green endeavors? Use Rate It Green's directory to find someone close to you who has experience with green building!
