Sustainability Forum Luncheon Seminar: Developing a Waterfront Resiliency Plan for Beverly, MA

City of Beverly Planning Director Aaron Clausen, AICP and BSC Group Senior Project Manager Katie Moniz, P.E., AICP, CFM will present the City of Beverly Waterfront Resiliency project to the North Shore Tech Council Sustainability Forum on Wednesday, April 5th at the Beverly Cummings Center.

The City of Beverly is the recipient of a ~$90,000 grant from the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) to identify potential impacts of sea level rise due to climate change and develop a resiliency strategy to begin addressing these potential impacts. In an on-going effort to address the present and future risks of climate change and sea level rise to critical infrastructure, public facilities and residential and commercial uses, the City of Beverly is undertaking an assessment of critical infrastructure most vulnerable to coastal flooding. Please come participate and learn about the potential impacts of our changing climate on the coastal cities of the precious North Shore.
