Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.

We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. This session will provide context behind the energy credits in LEED and discuss the evolution of how LEED addresses energy and climate change.During this session, we will delve into how LEED addresses energy today through LEED v4 and through pilotcredits and also take a look towards how today’s trending topics, like the water-energy nexus impact LEED’s futuregoals.Course Objectives:
-Define different metrics and impacts for measuring energy use
-Provide an overview of how LEED v4 addresses energy in LEED BD+C, ID+C, O+M related credits
-Review different strategies for achieving the LEED v4 energy-related credits
-Review real world examples of how LEED energy-related credits and strategies have been applied
-Discuss the future of energy issues, solutions and strategies and the impact they have on the developmentof future LEED credits and pilot credits
