Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. The Intersection of Building Science and Building Materials, Online, October 20 -21
Event Description
At the intersection of building science and building materials, Home Building Crossroads provides residential home construction professionals a chance to discuss challenges and hear solutions from today’s leading experts, as well as network with other professionals from their region.
The education event series, led by key industry thought leaders such as Peter Yost and Steve Baczek, travels to cities across the country providing single-family residential building knowledge. Each event will have an educational track focused on elevating building practices, from understanding building standards and integrating performance components to providing a durable, energy-efficient building enclosure.
Designed for builders, contractors, code officials, HERS raters, architects, and channel partners, this event will offer four (4) health, safety, and wellness (HSW) CE learning units. If you are looking for AIA/CEU credits please be sure to include your AIA# on the registration page.
If you are planning to view the presentations in a group setting and need AIA or CE credits, you must fill out a paper form and sign for all attendees, please email anna.farrar@huber.com for a copy of the required form.
This series will span over two days on Tuesday, October 20th & Wednesday, October 21st, 2020. The presentations will last 2 hours from 12 PM - 2 PM EST.
Peter Yost: A true building science expert and enthusiast, Peter has more than 30 years of experience in building, researching, writing, and consulting on high-performance structures. Peter offers expertise on everything from energy efficiency to moisture management and durability.
