Out of an abundance of caution and care for the needs and concerns of our community, the 2020 Just Energy Summit (JES2020) is now virtual, September 28-October 2, 2020*.

“Since 2014, Partnership for Southern Equity’s Just Energy Portfolio has been working with a diverse ecosystem including grassroots partners and frontline leaders to advance an agenda that will undue the environmental injustices communities of color face in the American South. These injustices affect real lives – people are getting sick, energy bills are too high, and legacy communities are being exploited and uprooted due to irresponsible development and inequitable allocation of public resources. The Just Energy Summit is our time to come together and build power with the communities organizing against these injustices and working to ensure they are no longer left behind during this country’s economic transition to clean energy and our fight to reverse climate change.”

The 2020 Just Energy Summit will highlight some of the most dynamic content about the energy equity movement including 100% Clean Energy in the South, Black Women Legends of the Movement, Health Equity & Climate Change, an "unconference” session on storytelling, evening entertainment and so much more!
