Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Virtual Pro Tour: Mid-Rise Passive House & Urban Density Study, March 12, 12:30 PM EST
Event Description
Join NESEA online for this upcoming Pro Tour, featuring a mid-rise project built to Passive House standards that includes 30 units of affordable housing and an early education center. Curtis + Ginsberg Architects, the hosting firm, will be joined by additional members of the team to share design strategies, mechanical systems and energy use, sustainability issues, and the developer perspective behind this award-winning project. This event will also include a short presentation about urban density and carbon footprint, setting the stage for our spring Pro Tour series, which will include several affordable urban multi-family projects.
The hosting firm will be joined by additional members of the project team to share the key strategies used in pursuit of the certification, including materials selection, mechanical systems, and the design and construction approach.
