Event Description

The BPI Building Analyst Technician (BA-T) certification is an early-career credential for workers in the home performance industry. This certification offers a great entrance to the industry while providing a clear path for professional growth. A BA-T’s work includes data collection, visual evaluation, and diagnostic testing for whole-home assessments. This training prepares students to challenge both examinations required to achieve the BPI Building Analyst Technician Certification.

After successful completion of this course, the participant will be able to perform comprehensive whole-home energy assessments, employ advanced diagnostic testing techniques, evaluate building systems performance, diagnose problems, and provide cost-effective solutions that increase energy efficiency and improve the health and safety qualities of the home.
