Critical Mass: Scaling Passive House at Bunker Hill 2025
Event Description

As part of "All-in!" theme for 2025, Passive House Massachusetts enthusiastically bring you some of the Bunker Hill team members for a panel presentaiton by Andrew Steingiser (RDH), Natalia Escobar (Stantec), Nick Nigro (Leggat McCall Properties), and Suffolk Construction.

The Bunker Hill Housing Redevelopment in Boston stands as a pioneering example of large-scale passive house implementation, aiming to deliver 2,699 mixed-rate housing units across 15 buildings. This panel discussion brings together key members of the project team to share invaluable lessons learned from the design and construction of Building M, the project's inaugural structure.

Attendees will gain insights into the innovative strategies employed, challenges faced, and solutions developed in scaling passive house principles for complex urban developments.
