Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.

We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. Please join us on April 11th for lunch with Christopher Kearns of the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources and Annie Ratanasim of Commerce RI as they provide us with an update on renewable energy incentives, programs, and legislative initiatives.
Chris Kearns is the Legislative Liaison for the Office of Energy Resources (OER) and works on a variety of state energy legislation, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, natural gas and energy security. Prior to working for the OER, Chris was Governor Lincoln Chafee’s Policy and Legislative Analyst for transportation, environmental and energy matters. He also worked for Environment America where he worked on the 2008 Presidential Campaign in registering and discussing environmental and energy issues with voters in CO, NH, and MI. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island, with a Bachelor Degree in Environmental and Economics Management in 2008.
Annie Ratanasim monitors and oversees all grants and loans awarded through the programs of the Rhode Island Renewable Energy Fund (REF). She also manages consulted contracts, assists in the coordination and implementation of energy initiatives, and provides support to special projects under the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation. Annie joined the Renewable Energy Fund team under the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation in 2015. She previously was a sustainability coordinator intern during her time at the University of Rhode Island. Annie earned a master of public administration degree with a concentration in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Rhode Island.
