Free Webinar: Home Energy Series- Solar & Storage: Your Energy Generation & Storage Plan, November 8
Event Description

This is a San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) class. In session three of this three part Home Energy series, instructor Spencer Rosen will help make solar energy feel less daunting so you can design the correct solar system, have an actionable strategy, hire the right contractors, and be the hero to annihilate your energy bill.

You may come in with questions such as:

  • What size solar energy system do you need?
  • How do you know which contractor to trust?
  • Do you need batteries and why?

When you understand how a kilowatt of solar power produces kilowatt hour savings, you’ll feel like you see the solar energy matrix.

PG&E will also cover how to size a solar system while keeping the big picture in mind, and how to ensure the knowledge you’ve gained in previous sessions of the Home Energy series is applied to your solar & storage system design. You’ll be able to identify whether a contractor is accurately estimating savings and how to protect your home when signing an agreement with a contractor. This webinar will leave you empowered to create a net zero energy home.

The objective of this course is that at the conclusion, participants will be able to:

- Learn what questions to ask your contractor and how to protect yourself when signing an agreement
- Do basic solar math, including how to estimate savings from your system size
- Gain "insider" tips from Spencer Rose, a solar professional and contractor
- Create an integrated whole-home energy project strategy
