Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.

We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.

Green, energy-efficient, high performance, sustainable … whatever they call it, they are talking about healthier, better homes that focus more on the living experience in a home, as well as the home itself.
You understand the practices and features to build, remodel, or sell these better homes, yet do you know how to better position, value, and sell them?
This workshop focuses on the benefits of healthier, green, and energy-efficient homes and features and how to use these benefits to up-level your marketing and sales. The emotional pull created by the benefits of your homes and projects is how you differentiate your work. Relating their value to your clients to help them live healthier and more comfortably in their homes helps seal the deal.

Marla Esser Cloos, GHI Member, is the principal of Green Home Coach with 15+ years working with green certified homes and projects. Through Green Home Coach programs and partnerships, she helps businesses and people discover and create better homes to live in or work on for healthier, more comfortable lives. She is an NGBS Verifier, NAR Green and Wellness Within Your Walls certified pro.
She also is the founder and host of the Everyday Green Home podcast and author of Living Green Effortlessly: Simple Choices for a Better Home.
