Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Green Building Walking Tour: Women+ In Green Urban Hike, June 8, 2-4 pm, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Event Description
The GBA’s Women+ in Green network for an urban hike in Downtown Pittsburgh as they explore their city’s many high-performing buildings! Following along GBA’s Green Building Walking Tour map, GBA staff members will lead the group through town, stopping along the way to share some highlights about each building.
Please note that this will be entirely outside (They will not be touring the inside of any buildings) and plan on wearing comfortable clothes and walking shoes. This tour offers the chance to get some exercise, learn new things about Pittsburgh, and network with other Women+ in Green as we discuss how the built environment can impact people and the planet, and how their region is leading the way in creating sustainable spaces and addressing climate change.
Note: that this event can be self-reported for 2.0 LEED-specific GBCI continuing education units (CEUs).
Advanced registration is required, and all details and instructions will be shared with registered participants in the days leading up to the event.
