Heating Electrification Workshop 2024, Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP), November 19 & 20, Syracuse, NY
Event Description
States in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic are committing to widespread adoption of highly efficient heat pumps by 2030. These aggressive goals aim to stabilize energy bills, improve health, and cut climate pollution amid extreme weather challenges by adopting heat pumps for most heating, cooling, and water heating needs.
Join NEEP's Heating Electrification Workshop (HEW2024) 2024 to explore market intervention strategies and collaboration opportunities to advance these markets regionally. The workshop will feature solutions to stubborn barriers as well as new opportunities to leverage.
HEW2024 will explore emerging strategies and regulations for electrifying heating, cooling, and water heating to create regional opportunities for market transformation. Collaboratively, we will explore topics including low- to moderate-income program implementation, community-level electrification, emerging heat pump solutions, and manufacturer insights.
HEW2024 will kick off with a Day Zero welcome reception for attendees, followed by an opportunity to dine-out at local area restaurants and network with small groups of conference attendees, including NEEP staffers. Workshop sessions will explore topics crucial to navigating this evolving market, including technology advancements, workforce barriers and opportunities, and equitable policies and programs.
