Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.

Online Course: Energy Codes and Trends in Massachusetts, March 23, 3-5 pm
Event Description
This course will cover many rapidly evolving elements of sustainable design with particular attention to energy codes and trends applicable in Massachusetts. Topics will include the new Stretch Energy Code, local regulatory requirements such as BERDO and Zero Carbon Zoning, and trends in Net Zero design.
Learning Objectives
- Identify major changes to the latest version of the energy code as their impacts on architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Compare energy codes across the country for both new buildings and renovations.
- Summarize building energy trends, both those found in codes and those pushing the envelope on sustainable design.
- Predict how the energy code changes and new energy efficiency strategies will impact a new project not yet designed.
