The 2025 Zero Waste Forum is hosted by Race to Zero Waste in partnership with Broward Clean Air and Debris Free Oceans during #ZeroWasteWeek, building on conversations from the International Day of Zero Waste

Taking place at the Anne Kolb Nature Center, the 2025 Forum brings together local, national, and international audiences for an enriching experience that includes inspiring speakers, group activities, and dynamic discussions.

Zero Waste Week agenda: 

  • Beach Cleanup (March 30th) 
  • Sustainability Tour at UM (March 31st)
  • Forum Day 1 (April 1st 9:00-17:00)
  • Forum Day 2 (April 2nd 9:00-17:00)
  • TRUE Zero Waste Workshop (April 3rd 9:30-13:00)

These sessions provide attendees with opportunities to engage in thought-provoking discussions about the progress, challenges, and future of the zero waste movement.

With a hybrid format, the Forum ensures accessibility for both in-person and online participants, expanding its reach to a global audience. As an extension of R20W’s mission, the Forum fosters meaningful discussions that drive systemic change. It addresses future challenges, highlights zero waste principles, and unites diverse voices to explore actionable solutions around equity, accessibility, and environmental impact.
