service information
Description: The most requested transparency document in the industry today is the Health Product Declaration (HPD). The biggest AEC firms in the U.S. request HPDs from manufacturers. Architecture firms such as Perkins+Will, Smith Group JJR, and HKS encourage building product manufacturers to provide HPDs to be specified. Product manufacturers who provide HPDs for LEED v4 projects will be given preference over manufacturers who don't comply with these requests. GreenCE helps building product manufacturers develop HPDs to meet these new specification requirements.
Environmental Statement: The HPD Open Standard is a standard specification – composed of a format and instructions – for the accurate, reliable and consistent reporting of product contents and associated health information, for products used in the built environment.
