Description: The mission of the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) is to make every school an ideal place to learn. CHPS does this by facilitating the design, construction and operation of K-12 schools to create environments that are not only energy and resource efficient, but are also healthy, comfortable, and conducive for a quality education.
Environmental Statement: CHPS helps facilitate and inspire change in our educational system. The goals of CHPS are to fundamentally change the design, construction and operation of schools to protect student and staff health, and enhance the learning environment while conserving energy, water, and other natural resources and minimizing negative impact on the environment.
