Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.

Technical Session Description:
This course discusses the requirements of smoke control systems and the smoke modeling process that can be used to design such systems. The course dives into some common issues relating to smoke control including special inspections and the commissioning process
Main Program Description:
Review of smoke control vs. smoke management systems. Highlight the codes and standards that affect the system operation and design parameters. Discuss the goals of these various systems from smoke detection, damper activation and modulation to fan control and how to properly interface them together to work as a single system. Testing requirements and ongoing review are covered to make sure the system works today and into the future whenever it is needed.
