  • 10 Dec 2015
Event Description

Boston Area Solar Energy Association - 'Jobs, Justice, Climate'
Open Forum, Sign-Making and Paris Conference Update
Dec. 10th, 7pm

This Thursday at Boston Area Solar Energy Association, something different....

A sign-making workshop to prepare, two days ahead, for the big rally on Boston Common, on Saturday, December 13th 1-3 pm. At our regular time and place, Thur. 7pm at First Parish UU Church, 3 Church St., Harvard Square, we will have an informal, open forum to exchange ideas while we get creative. One theme of the rally is for the people, worldwide, to have "le denier mot"/"the last word" as the COP21 UN Climate Conference concludes in Paris.

The list of participating organizations converging on Boston for the New England regional event on Saturday is impressive - you will not want to miss this historic occasion - we encourage you to RSVP at this sign-up link: bit.ly/1NHv2Sx

Andrew Held, of Climate Action Business Assocition (http://cabaus.org), will be attending to give us the latest breaking news from his colleague Quentin Zondervan, reporting directly from Paris.

Light refreshments will be served. Please feel free to bring sign-making material, we will provide others. We look forward to seeing you this Thursday at BASEA, and out on Boston Common on Saturday!
