Building Resilience: Resilient Water Systems, March 30, Los Angeles (Now Online!)
Event Description
Access to clean drinking water is a fundamental human right. California’s water system faces a variety of challenges, from drought to an aging water infrastructure, to changes in precipitation. Learn how resilience principles apply to water systems, and what solutions exist to transform and protect the region’s water supply and quality. This 90-minute interactive session will provide participants with a framework for understanding resilient water systems, from watershed to tap and back again.
Heather Rosenberg is a USGBC Ginsberg Fellow and leader of Building Resilience-LA, a USGBC-LA program that brings resilience to the building scale.
