Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Clean Energy Meets the Electric Utility Industry, March 23, 8:30am - 4pm, MassCEC, Boston
Event Description
Today's Utility Classroom will be coming to MassCEC's headquarters for a one-day workshop covering clean energy & the electric utility industry with instructor Scott Williams.
If you are new to the industry or you communicate, do business development or marketing, finance, legal, or IT around the electric utility industry for suppliers, utilities, clean energy companies, new service companies, associations, or policy makers, this is the program for you to get a strong grasp of the whole picture in a fun, interactive workshop setting.
By popular request, Utility Classroom is journeying to Beantown and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center headquarters right by the Downtown Crossing T stop in the financial district, for a one-day workshop covering clean energy & the electric utility industry. Don’t worry, it’ll be fun! When it’s over, you’ll understand the difference between clean, green, renewable, as well as advanced energy choices. You’ll find out why Tesla got the cool car named after him (instead of Edison), how the industry is being changed by new energy choices, which roles which agencies play, unbundling, deregulation, how utilities are motivated, the promise of transportation electrification, and so much more!

Scott William is the founder of Utility Classroom and is dedicated to providing a dynamic classroom environment. He is President of PNW Utility Consulting LLC, a boutique consultancy helping businesses navigate changes in the utility industry.
