ENC Thought Leadership Series: Midwest Energy Strategies, February 17, 1pm EST
Event Description
Join us for the first session of our quarterly Thought Leadership Series.
OVERVIEW:
Join the USGBC ENC Region for a virtual, interactive session on progressive, Midwest-specific energy strategies.
Buckle up for a Zero Carbon economy by 2050! We will briefly touch on the role of the pandemic and recognize the importance of zero energy in new construction—before taking a deep dive into to existing buildings. We will explore how our climate solution hinges upon success in this area. Don't worry, there is hope! We will hold a facilitated discussion to challenge session participants on ways that we, as industry professionals, can change how we personally approach our jobs with Zero Carbon 2050 target in mind. How can we change our companies? How can our companies change our clients? How can our clients change their decision-making processes that present the barriers to Zero Carbon? Join us to to get the ball rolling, together!
Our featured Zero Carbon champion will be Greg Raffio of Go Sustainable Energy and the session will be moderated by MaryEllen Etienne of USGBC's Market Transformation & Development team.
