Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.

We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. Event Description
How can passive housing design principles—which focus on energy efficiency, comfort, and minimizing environmental impact—be used in the creation of affordable housing?
This question will be the focus of our day-long workshop with Passive House Institute US (PHIUS). We’ll talk about what it means to create passive housing through an affordable housing lens. After covering the basic principles of passive housing, we’ll dig into building codes and regulations, talk about financing affordable passive buildings, and hear about lessons learned from recent projects. Whether you work in development or finance or are from a community agency or municipality, join us to learn about the future of housing.
Registration is $60 per participant and includes lunch.
