This webinar is offered in partnership with San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E). The decarbonization of universities, colleges, and schools is a hot topic and conjures up the following questions:
A great deal of mystery surrounds this topic. The fact is that the impossible is possible! We all know that today’s technology is limited and many of the associated decarbonization claims are simply untrue. A great deal of success may be achieved if we focus on the facts and follow ASHRAE’s recommendations on decarbonization. This webinar addresses the critical dos and don’ts, reviews the most recent codes and regulations, and provides the accepted rule-of-thumb checks regarding the decarbonization of universities, colleges, and schools.
The objective of this course is that at the conclusion, participants will be able to:

- Strategies, costs, and rule-of-thumb checks
- Codes and regulations
Mr. Shadpour is the founder and president of SC Engineers, Inc. With over 30 years of experience in energy efficiency and sustainable mechanical design, Mr. Shadpour demonstrates his abilities through providing environmentally responsive and technologically advanced solutions for a variety of facilities. He is an active member in professional and academic communities, including Program Chair of ASHRAE Technical Committee.
