Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Green Building Construction Tour, February 11, 3:30-5 pm, San Luis Obispo, California
Event Description
Here’s an opportunity to visit a green building project in person, to learn more about the process and see the implementation of energy efficiency and building electrification in practice.During this tour of an active construction site, the builder will provide first-hand information on implementation, lessons learned and best practices. Project location in San Luis Obispo will be provided to registered participants.

Mike is a licensed builder in California and Massachusetts, as well as a certified Passive House Consultant. Mike specializes in bringing building practices, methods, and theories to reallife applications for architects, designers, and other builders. Specialities include life-cycle cost analysis, building envelope, and more.
Andy Pease, Principal, In Balance Green Consulting
Andy, an Architect and LEED AP, is focused on optimizing green building strategies, including LEED certification and water conservation. She has helped dozens of clients through a green building process using integrated design, daylight and water use analysis and other strategies to maximize efficiency.
