Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Green Building Tour: Hotel Marcel, New Haven, CT, September 29
Event Description
CTGBC is teaming up with CT Passive House and Conscious Capitalism CT to host a building tour and networking event at Hotel Marcel on September 29th from 5-7PM. This event will feature remarks from Bruce Becker, the developer, planner, and architect, whose bold vision led to the historic rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of New Haven’s iconic Breuer landmark into a model of sustainable hospitality. Targeting LEED Platinum certification, Hotel Marcel is also slated to be the first Passive House Hotel in the United States. Project team members from Steven Winter Associates will also be there to talk about this project and lead small group tours. This "Don't Miss" tour/networking event will include food and a cash bar.
