GreenCon Building Conference and Expo, March 17, Dickinson College

USGBC Central Pennsylvania is pleased to announce that Alex Wilson, Founder of BuildingGreen, Inc. and President of the Resilient Design Institute, will be the keynote speaker at GreenCon 2016 on March 17 at Dickinson College:

For more than 30 years, Alex Wilson has been a trusted voice on energy efficiency and environmentally responsible design and construction. He founded BuildingGreen in 1985 and launched Environmental Building News (EBN) in 1992, as the first North American publication focused on green building. He is also the author of Your Green Home (2006) and co-author of Green Development: Integrating Ecology and Real Estate (1998) and the Consumer Guide to Home Energy Savings (1990, 9th edition, 2007).

GreenCon 2016's theme is resiliency. It will feature presentations on community design, building codes, energy efficiency, facility management, legal green and resilient design, as well as special sessions. Over 20 education programs will be presented in formats such as lectures, tours, hands-on workshops, roundtables and interactive case studies.
